Grain Corn Plantation

The journey of Famox Grain Corn has begun in early January 2016 when our Director, Mr Ramana K. Naidu started collecting information regarding grain corn to develop his knowledge and deepen his understanding before stepping into the field. He travelled to Thailand, China and India to learn more about grain corn plantation, processing, harvest and also about the latest technologies applied in the field.
On the 13th July 2016, Famox Grain Corn project was officially launched by Kedah State Agriculture EXCO, Dato’ Suraya Yacoob D.S.D.K., P.J.N., S.D.K., B.K.M., J.P. with the cooperation of Kedah State Agriculture Department. Famox Grain Corn project is recognized as the pioneer project of commercialized grain corn production in Malaysia.
On 20th November 2016, the historical first harvesting of Famox Grain corn was witnessed by honorable Agricultural Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and other government bodies. The Minister congratulated our Famox Director for having the courage to venture into grain corn field and to successfully harvesting the products. Honorable Minister was amazed by the record of producing 8.1 tonnes of grains in 1 hectare of land.
Famox aims to be a supportive anchor company which encourages many farmers to involve themselves in this industry to plant grain corn throughout the country by implementing the knowledge learnt from various parties and worthy experiences gained from trial and error of our own projects. We provide ‘Famox Grain Corn Package’ at cheapest rate to motivate farmers to start planting grain corn and we too buy back the grains after harvest through our ‘Famox Buy Back Concept’ to further dry and market the products.

– Launching of “Projek Perintis Penanaman Jagung Bijirin Secara Komersil Yang Pertama di Negara” in July 2016
– Work has started with minimal labour and about 80% of machineries.
– Successful harvesting on Nov 2016. This historical event witnessed by Honourable Minister of Agriculture, D.S. Shaberry Cheek.
– High return of excellent quality.
